I am running for the House of Representatives (lower house) seat of Forrest in the federal election.
My name will appear on the small green ballot paper - not to be confused with the very large white ballot paper which is for the Senate and requires you to vote above or below the line.
I ask that you give me your number 1 vote, and then number all the remaining boxes from 2 to 8, in the order that you choose.
Your preferences are up to you.
To ensure your vote is valid, and therefore counted, you must number all the boxes.
This message will be printed on my 'How-to-Vote' card which will be available at the voting centre on election day.
As an Independent, I don’t engage in preference deals with parties and other candidates.
If you put me number 1 and I am eliminated from the count, your ballot will move to whoever you put number 2.
